Overview The new 2017 Cadillac Escalade is almost ready for prime time! While you may find other luxury SUV's offering more under the hood power and more changes, the new 2017 Cadillac Escalade still manages to endear itself to people who are looking for daring styling and remarkable V8 power. Other highpoints include a quieter interior, seating capacity for up to eight people, stout power, and impressive towing capabilities. The vehicle is expected sometime in the first half of 2017.
Walkaround This year, the Escalade only gets a few subtle changes that are remarkably conspicuous on its exterior styling and interior technologies. My reviewers and critics took Cadillac's efforts with a grain of salt when it was debuting its first model back in 1999. However, Cadillac proved this was an outstanding vehicle and has made an exceptionally large fanbase and continues to do so almost 20 years later.
The inside of the vehicle looks modern and provides some of the latest and greatest features and technology that will allow it to keep up with the completion. The CUE touchscreen multimedia interface has been overhauled and in its place a more intuitive and responsive system has been put into place. Other technologies in place include a blind-spot monitor with rear-cross traffic alert, lane-departure warning and mitigation, pedestrian detection system, a multi-view camera, adaptive cruise control and faster wifi connectivity.
However, there are some drawbacks to consider. They include a high load height and cargo floor, a bouncy ride quality and extremely restricted third row seating. But, these drawbacks shouldn't be a reason to not consider the 2017 Cadillac Escalade as your next SUV.
Summary As you can tell, there are some small, yet noticeable changed made to the 2017 Cadillac Escalade. While there is cramped third row seating and a bit of a bumpy ride, this vehicle is definitely a winner.
The full size SUV is going to be offered in four trims: base, Luxury, ESV Platinum, and Premium.
